What Bookmakers.Global lists

Every country has a page with the betting sites found for it. Every bookmaker has a separate page for each country it appears in, because a licence, a bonus or a payment method that applies in one country often does not apply in the next.

Country pagesThe bookmakers found for one country, with the regulator and the licence status beside each name.
Bookmaker pagesOne brand in one country: licence, products, bonus terms, payment methods, apps and sources.
Local-language pagesFor many countries whose main language is not English, the same pages can also be read in that language.

The site does not take bets and holds no player accounts. A link to a bookmaker leads to that bookmaker's own website.

Why a bookmaker appears on a country page

A brand is listed for one of three reasons, and its page says which one applies.

Documented offer
The operator itself publishes a product or service for the country, such as a local website, terms that name the country or a cashier in the local currency.
Register entry
The brand appears in the register of the country's gambling regulator.
Regulator notice
The regulator has published a decision or a warning about the brand.

Brands that people in a country look up, but that show neither an offer nor a licence there, are kept apart from the main list.

How to read a licence status

A licence is local. It comes from the regulator of one country, state or province and covers that jurisdiction only. The label beside a bookmaker's name says what was found for that one place.

Locally licensed
The regulator's register shows a current licence for the brand.
On the local register
The brand appears in the regulator's register.
Licence stated by the operator
The operator names a licence on its own website, and no matching register entry was found.
Earlier register listing
The brand appeared on an earlier list of the register.
Regulator reports no licence
The regulator has announced that the brand offers games without a local licence.
No local licence listed
No entry for the brand was found in the country's register, or the country publishes no register.

A licence from another jurisdiction is shown separately and is not a local licence. The last label says nothing more than what it states: it is not a finding that a brand is illegal.

Sources and dates

Each bookmaker page lists the pages its entry is based on: the regulator's register, the operator's own pages and published offer terms. Sources show the date they were last checked when there is one.

Registers and offers change. Before you open an account, look at the regulator's register and the operator's current terms yourself.

Corrections

If a licence has changed, a bookmaker is missing from a country or a detail is wrong, write to us. Send the address of the page and a link to the register or operator page that shows the right information.

Betting is for adults. If it stops being fun, the responsible gambling page lists the account tools that help and where to find free support.

Common questions about Bookmakers.Global

Is Bookmakers.Global a bookmaker?

No. The site takes no bets, holds no money and has no player accounts. It describes betting sites and links to their own websites.

Does a listing mean a bookmaker is legal in my country?

No. A listing shows that a brand publishes an offer for the country, appears in a register or was named by the regulator. The licence status on the page tells you which, and the law where you live decides whether you may bet.

How do I know how recent a page is?

Country and bookmaker pages show the date of their last check.

Who is the site for?

For adults who want to know which betting sites operate in a country and under which licence. Betting is restricted to adults wherever it is legal, and some countries set the age above 18.
